Space Game UI/UX: Image

Space Game UI/UX Concept

UI/UX Design

I am not sure why this project felt natural, maybe because of the SciFi theme, or perhaps it is my dream of living in a cartoon world with spaceships, but I wanted to have fun making it and I'm glad about the outcome.
The project showcases my uniqueness and approach to designing a UI for a space game, The core of this design is be as futuristic and space-oriented as possible, with shiny round buttons, metallic colors, and 3d text.

Wireframes

I like to jump a lot between the wireframes and the actual design.

My process begins at the Wireframe, where I establish the type of buttons I need to design, the overall UX flow, and the location of the buttons.

But then later on, after I design the first items, I find it inspiring to go back to the wireframes, as it cleans my mind and lets me design more intuitive screens than working with colors and distractions.

Colors

The color pallet I chose for this game is a pallet of orange, light blue - turquoise, and light purple. All of the colors are very light and pastel-like but when applied with layers can form crisp and attractive buttons.

Buttons, buttons, and more buttons.

This is the peak of the design, when the design felt clumsy the buttons felt just right.

The buttons speak the language of the game, SciFi futuristic space game- With round corners, abstract but clean shape, the clean 3d design, and the highlights make the design look amazing and even delicious (or maybe I just need to stop working and get dinner)

The Finished Product

Assembling the pieces was great, I got to play around with the design, add final tweaks and even create a planet (why not). Make sure to scroll to view the rest of the screens.
